Our social calendar is very popular, and offers a great way to meet and greet.  Every Resident is encouraged to enjoy the in-house activities on offer.

The RJM Hall, situated in the heart of Randjes provides a multi-purpose building, creating a central hive of activity and social interaction which form a huge part of our Resident’s everyday life.  In addition we have a smaller entertainment facility, Rotary Park Hall.  Our library is also situated in this complex.

We encourage our Residents to keep active and involved, and boast a wide variety of diverse activities and services.

If you enjoy gardening there is ample opportunity to do so in our beautiful gardens, which is home to an abundance of bird life and a rather large extended family of Guineafowl.

Walking/ Jogging

Our Estate offers a safe environment for walking or jogging. You will see people strolling around either first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon.


Knitting and crocheting groups meet weekly, the knitting group is part of an outreach programme for Door of Hope.

  • We have yoga and pilates classes, an exercise group
      and line dancing which all take place weekly.
  • There is a Pool and Snooker table which can be used
      and there are groups that meet on an adhoc basis to play

  • U3A organize talks on different subjects once a month
  • Holidays and outings are organized on an adhoc basis
  • Special holidays and seasons are celebrated
  • Interesting events and talks are organised throughout the year
  • We encourage residents to get together and there are a number
      of groups that meet around shared interests, for instance:
    • Shakespeare group
    • Gardening group who meet once a month to exchange ideas
        and talks are given by experts in the gardening fields
    • Embroidery group
    • Bridge is played by individual groups


We have a variety of services that we offer.


A dining room where you can eat a three course midday meal, family members and friends are welcome.


We have transport available to take residents to hospital and doctors that are within a 15km radius.


Four days a week our combi takes residents to Balfour Park or Norwood Shopping Centre.
